Lumen
A store for a lighting brand whose catalog lived in PDFs.
Lumen makes lamps and sold wholesale from a seasonal PDF. The new store had to show light in a room, not just a spec sheet.
I organized the catalog by room and color temperature, and kept checkout inside the same story: the lamp you looked at is the one you pay for.
The problem
The catalog could not be filtered, and the previous store dropped the product at checkout. Anyone comparing two lamps went back to the PDF.
The solution
A store with room scenes, filters for temperature and space, and a checkout that keeps the chosen piece. The team adds products without touching the design.
