Caja
An expense log for freelancers who rebuilt invoices at the end of the month.
Caja is an app for separating project expenses from personal ones without building a full accounting system.
With three accountants I defined the package they need on day one: the month's movements, receipts, and an export. Everything else stayed out.
The problem
Freelancers mixed expenses in the bank account and built the accountant's folder on the last day. Receipts were missing and category names changed every month.
The solution
An app that categorizes movements, attaches the receipt in the moment, and exports a monthly package. The categories belong to the accountant, not an infinite list.
