Orilla
Bookings for coastal rentals that were confirmed by message and collided in January.
Orilla manages houses on the coast. Owners confirmed in chat and, in high season, the same week was sold twice.
The calendar is the main screen: a week has a single status, the deposit is taken before confirmation, and the guest reads the house rules before paying.
The problem
There was no shared calendar. Two people could offer the same week, and the deposit arrived after the promise.
The solution
A calendar with holds, a deposit, and a guest page that shows the rules before payment. The week is taken when the deposit lands, not when someone says yes.
